CashKitab and CashFlow both address everyday business records, but their published offers are different. CashKitab’s current offer is 100% free, including all premium features in the current release. CashFlow offers a free plan and several paid tiers. Availability matters too: CashFlow has a public Android listing, while CashKitab’s release page was still showing launch preparation when this comparison was checked.

This article compares CashKitab with CashFlow: CashBook & Ledger by Devsherd, at cashflowmanager.app. It does not cover similarly named accounting products in other countries. The snapshot date is 26 October 2026; check the linked publisher pages before making a purchase or depending on a release.

What does CashFlow cost?

The official CashFlow pricing page displayed the following monthly prices:

Plan Public price shown per month
Free $0
Starter $0.99
Essential $3.49
Professional $5.49
Business $11.99
Enterprise $24.99

These are the publisher’s displayed dollar amounts, not a guaranteed regional app-store quote. Confirm billing currency, tax, billing period and the final checkout price. The same page presents an annual selector and trial messaging; neither should be confused with the permanent free tier.

Its free-plan table lists one business, one member, three books, basic reports and cloud sync. Higher tiers increase capacity and add capabilities. For example, Starter lists attachments and web-portal access, while Professional lists CSV import. Read the plan-specific table for the feature you need rather than assuming every marketing feature belongs to the free plan.

What does CashKitab include for free?

CashKitab’s current feature set includes daily cashbooks, customer and supplier khata, bills, quotes, receipts, shared books, available access roles, repeating entries, monthly book limits and PDF/CSV book reports. Its current policy does not require a subscription or paid upgrade to unlock those features.

A monthly book limit is a tool for monitoring recorded spending, not a subscription allowance. Equally, “all premium features included” should not be read as an unverified promise of unlimited technical capacity or every feature another product offers.

CashKitab is preparing its Android release. Windows on Microsoft Store and the Web App are coming soon. The download page is the place to check current availability; a coming-soon badge is not an available desktop or browser product.

Which features should you compare?

CashFlow’s published feature page describes offline recording, recurring transactions, shared roles, credit/udhar tracking and PDF/Excel reporting. Some entitlements depend on the selected plan.

Workflow CashKitab’s current published offer CashFlow’s published offer
Daily records Money in/out, notes, dates and payment methods Income, expenses and payment records
Customer credit Customer and supplier khata Credit/udhar and party records
Working together Shared books and available roles Shared roles; check member allowance
Recurring work Repeating entries Recurring transactions
Book exports PDF and CSV PDF and Excel summaries
Offline use Saved device records after setup; internet for sync Publisher advertises offline work and online sync

This is a feature-scope comparison, not a speed, security or reliability benchmark. In particular, offline support does not establish that every action works without internet or that unsynced data can never be lost.

A useful decision for a small team

Write down the number of people and separate books your team actually needs. Add the required export format and whether browser access is necessary today. A low entry price is less informative than knowing which plan covers that specific workflow.

If an available Android app and an existing browser option are essential now, CashFlow deserves consideration. Its Google Play listing provides the current Android release information. If CashKitab’s free feature set fits your needs, review its launch status before deciding to wait for it.

Before adopting either product, try a small set of sample records: a payment, an expense, a part-paid customer amount and a shared-book action. Export the intended date range and check how you would recover pending work after a connection problem. That exercise answers practical questions a feature list cannot settle.

Is CashKitab a free CashFlow alternative?

It is a relevant option to evaluate for cashbooks, khata, bills and shared records, with a different current pricing policy. It should not be presented as an already released, identical replacement for every CashFlow platform and feature.

See how CashKitab works, review its availability, or read the CashBook comparison if you are also considering an employee expense-wallet workflow.
